Guangdong Houcaihong Tea Co., Ltd. (also known as Monkey-Picked Red) is located in Luokeng Town, Qujiang District, Shaoguan City — within the 240 km² Luokeng National Nature Reserve, one of Guangdong’s top tea towns. The reserve features over 30 mountain peaks above 1,000 meters, maintaining a pristine ecosystem often called a modern “Jurassic Park.”
The company is dedicated to wild ancient tea tree conservation and development. With QS certification and advanced production facilities, they produce the “Monkey-Picked Red” brand of premium Lingnan organic black teas.
Their signature creation is the world-renowned “Peach Almond Aroma” (蟠桃杏仁香) — a wild ancient tree black tea with a distinctive peach-stonefruit sweetness and almond undertones, made from ancient tea trees in the Luokeng reserve. Other acclaimed series include the “Ancient Charm,” “Divine Charm,” and “Elegant Charm” wild ancient tree teas, plus the popular “Mountain Charm,” “Rock Charm,” and “Red Charm” high-mountain black teas.
