Qujiang (曲江区) is a district in central [Shaoguan](https://shaoguantea.com/glossary/shaoguan/), Guangdong Province. It is home to the [Luokeng](https://shaoguantea.com/glossary/luokeng/) National Nature Reserve, the most concentrated habitat of wild ancient tea trees in China — over 40,000 trees aged 100–1,000+ years. Qujiang’s tea heritage dates back over a millennium.
Its signature product is almond-aroma wild ancient tree black tea, a tea so distinctive that its natural benzaldehyde fragrance ('almond aroma') is found nowhere else in Chinese black tea. Key brands include Xuehuayan (Snow Flower Rock) and Monkey-Picked Red.
