Guangdong Xuehuayan Tea Co., Ltd. (also known as Snow Flower Rock) was founded in March 2011. It is located in Luokeng Town, Qujiang District (the name “Qujiang” means Winding River), Shaoguan City, within the National Nature Reserve for the Chinese crocodile lizard. The unique microclimate and rich ecology of this Winding River region contribute to the distinctive character of Xuehuayan teas.
The company is a leading agricultural enterprise in Guangdong Province, integrating tea seedling breeding, cultivation, processing, marketing, and R&D. It operates under a “base + farmer” model, with its own 1,500+ mu (approx. 100 hectares) of tea gardens and cooperative farmer gardens covering over 7,500 mu (500+ hectares). Facilities include an automated black tea production line, as well as traditional lines for both black and green tea.
Through close collaboration with the Tea Research Institute of the Guangdong Academy of Agricultural Sciences, the company continuously innovates its processing techniques. Its signature Xuehuayan (Snow Flower Rock) teas are known for distinctive flavour profiles such as woody-sweet almond, woody-sweet floral, and sweet, mellow roundness. These teas have won multiple national and provincial awards, including Grand Gold and Gold prizes. Xuehuayan high-mountain black tea has been named “Guangdong Famous Product” and one of the “Top Ten Famous Teas of Guangdong.”
The company’s products have been Organic Certified for 11 consecutive years, reflecting its commitment to producing healthy, high-quality tea for consumers worldwide.
